I have practiced Iyengar yoga for 13 years now. I graduated from the 3-year Iyengar Yoga Teacher Training Program of Southern California and am certified at the Introductory II level. I had the great privilege of studying with the Iyengar family at RIMYI in Pune, India in 2017. I regularly study with many of the senior teachers including Manouso Manos, Gloria Goldberg, and Marla Apt. Yoga has taught me how to cope with stress, fatigue and illness, and this is what I hope to pass along to my students. I truly believe it makes you a better person inside and out. It is not only about the physical benefits, but the many mental benefits as well. In my classes I strive to challenge students while creating a safe and welcoming environment, with awareness of individual student’s needs.
